MKD Enters BIFC Blockchain Innovation Center, Advancing Secure AI and Document Trust Technology

MKD Co., Ltd. has been selected as a resident company of the Blockchain Innovation Technology Center (BITC) located within the Busan International Finance Center (BIFC). Through this residency, MKD plans to expand its research and development to strengthen security and data reliability alongside the advancement of its AI platform technology, while broadening its business into diverse industries such as finance, the public sector, and manufacturing.

The Blockchain Innovation Technology Center is a specialized support institution operated by the Busan Techno Park under the support of the Ministry of Science and ICT and Busan Metropolitan City, fostering the growth of digital technology companies and industrial innovation. Resident companies can leverage a wide range of technical support and collaborative networks to drive the research, development, and commercialization of innovative technologies.

As the only company in Busan developing its own foundation LLM, MKD expects this BITC residency to serve as the foundation for developing a next-generation platform that combines its AI and security technologies. MKD is researching various technologies to strengthen data integrity and traceability across document management, data processing, and AI service operations, and plans to utilize blockchain technology as a means to further enhance this security framework.

In particular, industries that demand high levels of security and reliability—such as finance, the public sector, defense, and manufacturing—require robust systems for the safe management and verification of data. MKD continues its research and development to combine its proprietary AI platform Keural with security technologies, enabling customers to receive AI services they can trust even more.

With this BITC residency as a turning point, MKD plans to further strengthen its AI model development, AI platform services, and security technology research, and to accelerate its expansion into domestic and global markets as a leading AI company representing Busan.
